Established in 2001 with blessings from the Malaysian Government, StemLife was awarded the prestigious MSC status in 2002, BioNexus Status in 2007 and on 17 October 2006 the company went for listing on the MESDAQ. As of 2008, StemLife is a fully licensed cord blood banking facility under the Private Healthcare Services & Facilities Act (PHFS Act), 1998, under the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
